Yale Schola Cantorum
The Yale Schola Cantorum, founded in 2003 by its conductor, Simon
Carrington, is a 24-voice chamber choir specializing in music from before 1750
and from the last 100 years. Supported by the Institute of Sacred Music
with the Yale School of Music, its members are drawn from students in any of the
graduate or undergraduate schools or colleges at Yale. In addition to
performing regularly in New Haven and elsewhere, the choir records and tours
nationally and internationally.
The Choral Compact Disc Clearinghouse is the primary distributor for Yale
Schola Cantorum recordings.
